Privacy Policy

• Account data:your name, email, and sign-in identity (via our auth provider).
• Company & employee data you enter:business details (legal name, EIN, address), and employee information needed to produce a stub (name, address, pay rate, tax elections, and the last four digits of an SSN). We do not ask for full SSNs or full bank account numbers.
• Generated records:the immutable pay statements you create, kept for reprints, year-end (W‑2) needs, and audit.
• Operational logs:limited, security-minded logs (e.g., audit and email-delivery events). Sensitive values are redacted.

The personal information you enter about your employees is data you control. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to provide it and for telling your employees how their information is used. SimpleStub processes it on your behalf to provide the Service.

To generate and store your pay statements, operate and secure the Service, send transactional email (such as portal invitations), and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data or your employees’ data.

We use reputable infrastructure providers to run the Service — for example hosting, a managed database, object storage, authentication, and transactional email. They process data only to provide their service to us.

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit and at rest, tenant isolation, access controls). No system is perfectly secure. Records are retained while your account is active and as needed for compliance and legitimate business purposes.

You can access or update most data in the app. For deletion or export requests, contact us — note that some compliance records may be retained where the law requires.
